Holy Geeze

Yes! We are back! We know its been a long time since we posted something, and we are sorry to have let down all three of our readers. From now on, we vow to try to remember to remind ourselves to attempt to post more pictures or words of inspiration on our blog. Well, we went to Osburn for Thanksgiving... good times. Also our kids got thier shots (emotionally scaring). And now our appartment looks like Christmas exploded and we used lights to cover up the mess, you know, the norm. Other than that, our life here has been about as exciting as it can get for being a young married couple with kids. But we are well aware that all two or three people who visit this site don't care to read about our exciting lives, not that it bores you, but because you actually cannot read... you selfish turds just want to see pictures, so here you go.

Shout out to our Homeys!

First and foremost, we'd like to give a big ol' shout out to our peeps, The Symons! Thanks for making Moscow memorable and bearable. Love you and miss you tons! Best wishes in Boise!....and yes, these are the best pictures we could find of you.

This is Gwen's "famous" billboard in Lewiston. She thinks she is cooler than sliced bread now.

This is the kid's picture with the Easter Bunny at our Stake Primary Activity.

Gavin, Easter Morning. He let his sister find all the eggs, then he examined each of them, carefully.
Gwen in her Easter dress. She's our little "1920's flapper". Looks like she just stepped of the set of A River Runs Through It.
This is not actually Gavin's first haircut, but it is the first one that we documented. The others were just to trim the hair around his ears, so we didn't miss anything really.

This was our (me, Gav, Jake and Kari) last day at Goldfish class at the Pullman Community Pool. At first Gavin was afraid to sit in the tub without his safety seat. Now he wanders all over the tub, blows bubbles in the water, and doesn't mind when his face goes under water. Should be a fun summer at the pool.
This is another picture taken at Heyburn State Park. Gavin loved it. He kept saying "this, this" and pointing, literally, the whole time. Daniel loved that his son was showing interest in things that he has an interest in.

Daniel was showing the kids some mushrooms growing on the side of a log. They thought it was pretty cool and liked the feel of them. Daniel's dream of teaching kids about nature is finally coming true.
This is an old railroad bridge built in 1921 at Heyburn that has been turned into a paved walkway. It crosses one of the Coeur d'Alene Lakes and follows the shoreline. Lots of people were out riding their bikes on it. We just walked, but are hoping to go back in the next couple of months for a bike ride with the kids.

We had a fantastic day at Heyburn State Park (5 miles east of Plummer, ID) on St. Patty's Day. It was beautiful weather at a balmy 60-something degrees ;). We had a picnic, walked one of the trails, and looked at the educational boardwalk and wildlife viewing area. Daniel got Gwen a cattail and she slammed it against everything and sent little fuzzies everywhere. We have lots more pictures, but our battery on the camera died, so as soon as we get another one, we will post more.

Daniel loves this picture because of Gav's neck. I love that he is finally getting noticable hair.

We spent a little time at the Little Boulder camp ground outside of Helmer, ID. We had one good day at the beginning of March and decided to take advantage. Unfortunately we forgot that Moscow is at a lower elevation than the rest of Idaho (except Lewiston) and the trails we wanted to hike were all covered in snow. So we just had a picnic at a picnic table by the parking lot. Oh well.

Who's kid is this? This is one of our first blog posts after we got our camera. This picture is one of the first pictures we took. Gwen is a great model. What a poser!

Soooo FAT!! I took this picture while Daniel was at work and Gwen was at school, so me and Gav had a little time to ourselves (that rarely happens). I messed around with my camera trying out the sepia tones while Gav played. He thinks the camera is a game and has figured out that when it is out he is supposed to smile.
