Ok. So our computer is super slow, so I dread getting on it....If anyone is out there who still cares to check on us every once in while, here you go.

We've officially spent a full year in our new house and it turns out that there are some downpoints to owning your own home. For example: Your water heater dies on a Saturday night in Soda Springs (no stores open past nine - it's an ungodly hour), you suddenly come to the realization that you have no money for a new water heater, or fence, or to finish your basement that you have so many big plans for, or that you need rain gutters after the giant rainstorms in June. You get the point. But it's worth it. Our kids love having a home and so do we. We'll just have to learn to be patient and pray for a raise.

We had a busy summer that was spent mostly doing the community play "Hello Dolly". Daniel had a good part as Barnaby and I was just a pregnant background person. Gwen was involved in the preshow and she loves being on stage - just like dad. I would have preferred to spend my summer doing other things like biking, frisbee golfing, camping and going to Bear Lake. I feel like we missed out on that stuff and spent way to much time away from our kids. We did get to judge the Empey family cook off at their reunion at Bear Lake which was a culinary delight.

Which brings me to my next subject: Daniel and I are expecting our third child in November. It's a boy, we've been arguing about names for months now. He's a big boy just like his siblings. I'm at 31 weeks and I'm measuring two weeks ahead and my doctor thinks he's around 5 1/2 pounds. Ya, I'm not going 9 more weeks...how about 6?

Lately, Daniel has been working a shutdown to earn some money for the baby. He's finally done with it, so now we have to get things done around the house that have been neglected. Gwen started Kindergarten which is crazy for me - How did she get that old! Gavin is in preschool too. There at opposite times so I get to spend some time with each of them individually before the baby gets here. I'm just plugging along and getting bigger.

Well, that's the short version obviously, but maybe later I can post some more info with some pictures. But, don't hold your breath.....

The Summer So Far...

At this very moment I am trying to upload one picture. My computer is so slow that I am beginning to give up on it. Besides a slow computer it has been a fun summer. If the picture I'm uploading appears, you will see me and Daniel after a four wheeler ride after Daniel's class reunion. It was fun to go out with some of Daniel's old classmates and their wives. I figured it was about time for a picture of me and Daniel on the Blog.

We've been camping a few times. The kids always love this. I loved it when I was a kid too, but that's because mom and dad did all the work. I have to admit though, I don't have to entertain them and I don't have to worry if they get dirty and I do like that. The first time we went it was a little cold still. Gavin and I froze and Gwen and Daniel were totally fine. Gwen also learned to ride her bike without training wheels on this trip. It's a new-found freedom for her. Our second trip was with the Allens. It was a lot of fun and we ended the trip with a day at Bear Lake. Our third trip was to McCoy Creek on the Wyoming border right next to Palisades with the Ashleys. We found a perfect spot and the bathrooms were impecible (that's important for us ladies). Daniel spent most of his time fly fishing. It was a pretty successful trip.
On the fourth we did the usual. Parade, BBQ, Fireworks. It was our first family gathering at our house. I think it went pretty well.
Last week was the Caribou County Fair. We spent our time at the Demolition Derby. Our favorite. Then we did the parade and some rides with the kids. If I ever get my computer to get it's stuff together I will post a picture of Gwen and her cousin on a roller coaster. It's pretty cute. We ran into a lot of people that we know including some from Moscow: Williams and Stoddards. Course, half the people we knew in Moscow were people from Grace. Crazy how that works.

Six Months Later - Stupid Slow Computer

Ok, so we totally haven't written on our blog for six months now. It's because our computer is so freakin' slow. It literally takes 45 minutes for one picture to load. I had every intention of adding a picture tonight, but I realized that we need to transfer new pictures from our camera to our computer. Wow, we are on top of things.
We're in our new house and loving it. We had to speak in church today. That was exciting. Maybe people will start recognizing that we are in the ward now. Hopefully, I will get some pictures of us and our house on here. We haven't even taken pictures of the house since we were painting. That was an experience that I never want to go through again.
In closing - I promise I'll get some pictures on here this week for all of our three fans. Peace out.

Holy Geeze

Yes! We are back! We know its been a long time since we posted something, and we are sorry to have let down all three of our readers. From now on, we vow to try to remember to remind ourselves to attempt to post more pictures or words of inspiration on our blog. Well, we went to Osburn for Thanksgiving... good times. Also our kids got thier shots (emotionally scaring). And now our appartment looks like Christmas exploded and we used lights to cover up the mess, you know, the norm. Other than that, our life here has been about as exciting as it can get for being a young married couple with kids. But we are well aware that all two or three people who visit this site don't care to read about our exciting lives, not that it bores you, but because you actually cannot read... you selfish turds just want to see pictures, so here you go.

Shout out to our Homeys!

First and foremost, we'd like to give a big ol' shout out to our peeps, The Symons! Thanks for making Moscow memorable and bearable. Love you and miss you tons! Best wishes in Boise!....and yes, these are the best pictures we could find of you.

This is Gwen's "famous" billboard in Lewiston. She thinks she is cooler than sliced bread now.

This is the kid's picture with the Easter Bunny at our Stake Primary Activity.

Gavin, Easter Morning. He let his sister find all the eggs, then he examined each of them, carefully.
Gwen in her Easter dress. She's our little "1920's flapper". Looks like she just stepped of the set of A River Runs Through It.
This is not actually Gavin's first haircut, but it is the first one that we documented. The others were just to trim the hair around his ears, so we didn't miss anything really.

This was our (me, Gav, Jake and Kari) last day at Goldfish class at the Pullman Community Pool. At first Gavin was afraid to sit in the tub without his safety seat. Now he wanders all over the tub, blows bubbles in the water, and doesn't mind when his face goes under water. Should be a fun summer at the pool.
